Bonus Fun Stuff:The Joule Dallas | Luxury in Urban North Texas.
When it comes to enjoying one’s city, Farmer’s Markets are a tried and true tradition. Stroll through aisles of vendors serving delicious, hot local fare and fresh-from-the-farm vegetables, or take home natural beauty products and a seasonal garden haul, all while enjoying the pleasant weather this season brings.
We wanted to highlight the Farmer’s Market because DFW is one of the best metropolitan areas when it comes to having a wide selection to choose from. With over 25 markets from Dallas to Frisco, Fort Worth to Denton, you can take your time exploring and finding the market that best fits your taste or location.
Below we’ve mapped out our choice of the top 11 Farmer’s Markets in the area and, of course, what makes them fun!

Editor’s Note on Farmer’s Marketing
Not every establishment that calls itself a “Farmer’s Market” is actually sourcing from local farmers. Best way to find out is to ask.

Denton’s Market is terrific. Great produce, homemade products along with handmade items.
I tend to think Denton is pretty terrific in general. They just noticed a white deer walking around like he owns the place, which ratchets up the cool factor IMO. Thanks for stopping by! You’re entered for four tickets to Dan’s Haunted House.
Thank you so much for the shout out for Eden’s! We’re not the biggest, but we’re the CLEANEST little Farmer’s Market in DFW. 🙂 (that’s a tag line by my wonderful market manger, Iris. 🙂
Thank you for stopping by to comment! Looking forward to visiting one day.
It’s great that the markets are now more than just produce. In Denton, you get entertainment, crafts, food trucks, and so on like a cross between a mini-festival and a farmers market. It’s a nice way to spend an hour on a Saturday!
I’m with you. Every one is different but they are probably all worth trying. One of my favorite farmer’s market finds was amazing pretzel bread at the Green Spot market in Dallas.
