We have found 4 places for you to give climbing a try. If you do not have all of the gear yet, do not worry. You can put your body to the test without having to buy all of the gear. One of the advantages of starting your climb to the top of the indoor climbing wall with these locations is that safety is a priority for them.

Instead of trying to climb Mt Everest, start with a place close to home that has experts to guide you on your journey.

This climbing gym was traditionally called Dallas Rocks. It is a lead climbing and bouldering location and is top-rope. Summit Dallas takes bouldering serious with 5,000 sq ft of climbing. They also have 27 ft tall top rope and lead climbing walls available.

This rock climbing gym has a 32-foot lead climbing and top rope wall. They also have right around 2,000 sq ft of bouldering space. So you can do it all in Grapevine. While you are there you can even do some yoga to help you get in shape for that wall climbing.

If you don’t have any climbing supplies, do not worry, these guys got you covered. You can rent your harness, shoes and chalk from them. This is a great way to find out if climbing is for you without having to make a large investment in the sport.

If you live in Arlington and don’t want to drive all the way to Frisco to try out rock climbing, Dyno-Rock Indoor Climbing Center has you covered.

At Dyno you can even have a rock climbing party. If you are looking for a different kind of birthday party, then rock climbing may be the best idea yet. These guys will provide you with all of the required rock climbing supplies. All that you have to do is show up and be ready to be challenged.

This bouldering gym is in a fun setting in the West 7th neighborhood of Ft Worth. It is a new climbing gym that was just built in 2017. They focus purely on bouldering here and have 5,000 sq feet of top-out bouldering for you.

This sports center at UNT has a 45 ft indoor climbing wall that has natural lighting but is also air-conditioned. There are 13 climbing stations to suit all level of climbers and their vertical wall is over 4,300 sq ft. They also have bouldering, lead climbing and climbing lessons.

Fun Facts: Summit Denton is the bouldering-only facility located right off the Denton Downtown Square. Originally a mattress factory, Summit converted this location to a climbing gym in 2015. It features approx. 6,000 square feet of bouldering.

This large gym in Denton is much more than a climbing gym but they do have an indoor rock climbing wall. Here you can also play basketball indoors and even get in some cardio.

This climbing gym is in the heart of the Denton Square Downtown. Summit purchased this old mattress factory in 2015 and converted it to a bouldering facility. This indoor climbing location is nothing but 6,000 sq ft of pure bouldering.
