New Year’s stage performance A Very Electric Christmas runs for one day only at the Lightwire Theater of Winspear in Dallas. It’s about a bird named Max who gets lost trying to fly south for the winter and ends up at the North Pole. Tickets start at $13.50 and that’s a 50% discount. Four showtimes available on New Year’s Day.

New in DFW this year is Magical Winter Lights in Grand Prairie. Get 21% off when you buy a four-pack for $60.

​Get a taste of a real winter when you visit ICE! at the Gaylord Texan Resort! Experience 9-degrees of ice sculptures in Grapevine. It runs through January 1st, so you still have time. While you’re there, walk through the lavishly decorated “riverwalk” is a must! $16 per person and up for a limited time.

​The walk-through lights and lanterns Holiday Wonder at Fair Park offers several bargain packages. There’s an Arctic Slide and a Snowball toss, too for an additional cost. Kids under 3 are free.
