You have to laugh, right? It was 5 F degrees in Denton this morning and 15 here in Bedford, and it’s a high of 70 on Saturday. If you’re new to Texas, you’ll get used to this pretty quickly. We LOVE to talk about the weather because it makes for great small talk AND it’s completely bipolar in the winter. Unless there’s ice on the road, freezing rain which will turn to ice on the road, snow which will melt and cause the roads to ice up, or freezing sleet (does this exist elsewhere in America?) that make the overpasses slick, Texans will find something to do no matter what.
