Dallas weather is getting hot! So you know it’s time to hit the outdoors! This summer’s HIIT (high intensity interval training) series is a fun way to feel empowered, get out of your comfort zone, and get a good workout! Not only will the exercise take your breath away, but this park has the best Downtown Dallas Skyline views. It is picture perfect! The only thing you need is a yoga mat! Before we begin, stop by the “braid-bar” and get your hair nicley done so you can be worry free about it throughout the workout! After the workout, hydrate and refuel with some infused water and protein packed bites! (Do not forget to wear your lucky socks. There will be raffle prizes at the end!)

North Texas Goat Yoga at the Park!
Join us for a morning of yoga with the goats of North Texas Goat Yoga! Our little goats will be bouncing, grazing and hanging out with (or on) you as you enjoy the benefits of yoga. We offer a fun relaxing yoga experience for all levels with the added joy of friendly little goats! Our classes start with a 45 minute goat yoga lesson and end with 30 minutes of playtime and picture taking with the goats.

5th Annual Big D BBQ Battle
Big D BBQ Battle cook-off competition brings the best brisket, chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, and pinto beans to the table in an all-out battle for bragging rights to “the best BBQ in North Dallas.” The 1st 1000 people through the gate will have the opportunity to cast their vote for this year’s “People’s Choice” award!

Canal Fest 2018
Canal Fest 2018 is a celebration of world cultures, featuring dance, music, art and food representative of customs from around the world. The WFAACommunity First, the Irving Arts Center and the Bar Louie stages will each showcase one or more continents through music, dancing and interactive lessons. The area surrounding each stage features food, activities, children’s crafts, cultural displays and vendors. Explore artifacts from a variety of world cultures presented by the Museum of International Cultures. Photo stations will be placed around the festival, and attendees are encouraged to dress in clothing that represents their own heritage or culture. Admission and activities are free.

Family Art Day at the Sammons

The Great Food Scavenger Hunt Tour
You’ve never done a tour like this one! Board our bus and we’ll send you on a mystery trip around Dallas, filled with clues and great food. You’ll use a smartphone to take photos after you are given clues. Prize to the winning team, which will be made up of your party and possibly one other party. The price includes motorcoach transportation, food at venues and great beverages on the motorcoach. Drinks at venues are on your own.
