Weekend whirlwind

MARCH 16-18: Time to go GREEN!

This weekend is of course overflowing with green beer, and every corner pub will be offering a drink special for a few shamrocks. But it’s also time for dill pickle PALOOZAS, cosplay, the boho market, a pinball face-off and a boat show in Fort Worth. Because nothing says St. Patrick’s Day like a new boat ramp. And, AND! Fun Fact:  Hot Springs, Arkansas boasts the SHORTEST St. Paddy’s Day parade at just 98 feet. Now that’s news you can use.

Texas Pinball Festival 2018

The Texas Pinball Festival is the largest pinball show in the country and the biggest auction in history. Over 400 vintage and new pinball machines are on site to be played for free throughout the three-day event. The festival offers tournaments for attendees to battle it out and also includes vendors selling parts and supplies, presentations by pinball artists and designers and an auction with over 100 pinball machines going to the highest bidders.

A film maker’s obsession with the disappearance of a young girl leads to the discovery of a walled garden, which is the barrier between life and death. But does this place actually exist or is it all simply a stunning piece of imagination? Sunken Garden integrates video and 3D technology, immersing the audience into an inescapable world of crime and mystery, making this a true, one-of-a-kind production like you’ve never experienced before.
