Weekend whirlwind
May 4-6, 2018
Believe it or not, there ARE dates surrounding Cinco De Mayo! Weird! We have May the 4th (be with you) and May 6th, which is the day before my birthday. My oldest sister is coming into town and we are going to paint the town red! Well, a pastel pink, probably, since I have social anxiety, and dancing on tables for me has long passed. My recommendation is the MayFest in Fort Worth and one of the bajillion ways to get your drink and guac on for Cinco De Drinko. So check out this crazy list of poorly edited stuff to do this weekend!

Texas Frightmare Weekend
Texas Frightmare Weekend is presented by Arrow Video. The event takes place annually in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. True to its motto, “The Southwest’s Premier Horror Convention”, our goal is to provide fans with an unrivaled experience by celebrating all aspects of genre films. 30th Annual Multicultural CINCO DE MAYO Festival
The event offers live entertainment, cultural exhibits and authentic Mexican food. Alcohol is not served – piñatas and inflatable games equipment, gardening activities that Home Depot brings.

Etsy Dallas Spring Bash 2018

With food and drink on site, as well as some party tunes rocking the tent, the Spring Bash is an all-around fun way to spend a day!

Gaither Fest Texas Homecoming Spectacular
This Labor Day festival in Frisco, Texas boasts lineups of Texas country, folk, gospel and rock bands. The Texas Homecoming Spectacular invite attendees to dance and worship their way into summer. Put on by Bill and Gloria Gaither, the focus of the festival is faith-based and completely family-friendly. The heavenly father is on full-blast at this Christian-based event.
